Spring transforms the city. It is Jerez's main season, when its most international events take place.
This is the most important flamenco dance and Spanish dance festival in the world. The Villamarta Theatre, the city's scenic heart, becomes the epicenter of the festival, hosting the biggest stars on the national and international scene. For two weeks, Jerez breathes art everywhere.
Declared of National Tourist Interest, Jerez's Holy Week (*Semana Santa*) is overwhelming. More than 40 brotherhoods parade through the historic center in an atmosphere of deep respect, art, and devotion.
The roar of engines invades Jerez. Thousands of bikers from all over the world arrive at the Jerez-Ángel Nieto Circuit for one of the most exciting races on the world calendar. The atmosphere throughout the city is electric.
Jerez's great week! Declared of International Tourist Interest, the Horse Fair is an explosion of joy. Casetas (tents), Sherry wine, parades of riders and carriages, and flamenco as the soundtrack in the spectacular González Hontoria Park.
This international exhibition, held every two years in Jerez de la Frontera, is dedicated exclusively to the world's noble, generous, fortified, and special sweet wines. For several days, the Alcázar of Jerez becomes the global epicenter of oenology, bringing together producers, experts, sommeliers, and enthusiasts for tastings, presentations, and unique gatherings.
Summer nights in Jerez have a special charm, with concert cycles and flamenco under the stars.
These are the two major flamenco events of the summer. Held outdoors, in winery courtyards or the Alcázar, they bring together the most important figures in singing, guitar playing, and dancing.
A cycle of top-level national and international concerts held in the incomparable setting of the González Byass Wineries. Music, gastronomy, and wine come together in magical evenings.
September is the month of wine. The city pays homage to its main sign of identity.
Declared of International Tourist Interest. The central event is the Grape Treading (*Pisa de la Uva*) in front of the Cathedral, but for two weeks there are master tastings, concerts, and activities revolving around wine culture.
Christmas in Jerez is unique, unlike any other.
Declared an Asset of Cultural Interest. It is not a concert, it is a shared celebration. Friends, families, and neighbors gather in courtyards and corrals to sing unique Christmas carols, sharing *pestiños* (pastries) and a glass of wine. It is the most genuine expression of Christmas in Jerez.
